Service Description
These sessions are a safe space for bereaved parents to process the death of their baby and explore the complex emotions linked to this event, such as grief, guilt, shame, loneliness, anger and many more. In order to gain maximum benefit from this psychosocial intervention, it is recommended that participants attend the entire 4-week module. This consists of four weekly workshops delivered over the course of one month. Workshops are free for bereaved parents to attend. Parents may attend workshops together or individually. All workshops are delivered by professional, trauma-informed art therapists registered with the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA). Participants do not need to bring materials, be good at drawing and do not require any previous experience.
