Artist Bio
Luke Rion is a practicing artist currently based out of Melbourne, Australia.
Luke has been painting and drawing for most of his life. Inspired by the unusual rhythms of nature and light, Luke's art attempts to capture these phenomena as they apply to the living world. Currently, his work explores themes of abandoned technology in natural and urban settings.
Luke has a BA in Illustration.
It is quite impossible to quantify the grief a parent may experience
at the loss of an infant. I just hope that through my practice I can help in some way - in whatever possible way - by gifting parents a reminder of their beautiful child.
I hope that by illuminating the spirit of a child and
honouring their delicate life in a keepsake portrait,
I can support parents moving through the grief process.
